Elk viewing in Gaylord!
While we were up in Gaylord we stopped over to view the Elk that reside by the DPW there. It's so cool to be able to see them up close, they are bigger than I thought and those antlers are huge. I thought I would share a few of the pictures I took.

Some up close encounters...Little E was a bit nervous.

Little E looks so unsure in the one pic. It's kind of funny.

I had to laugh too because she's watching them from the corner of her eye like they are going to come after her.

Actually they could come right thru that little fence with those very strong antlers, after being up close I don't blame her.

But truthfully the reason she was nervous was because the Elk spit...and she thought she was going to get spit on.Happy0194

Just love these pictures, had to laugh to at litte 'E' her expression is priceless! We have wild dear near to where I live, beautiful animals, but they zig zag all across the road, you just get stopped in your tracks when driving on the back roads!
